At Mount Zion Baptist Church we seek to nurture children in God's love through a variety of activities. Children ages birth through sixth grade benefit from the Children's Ministry.

Children
 All
Children are invited to join us on Saturday, February 18th
at 11:00am. We will have a special guest from Kidsenses Children’s
Museum in Rutherfordton, NC. Our special guest
will have a demonstration featuring
 “kitchen-based”
science activities in which the children will see familiar materials
from home used to prove that science is all around us. After the
demonstration we will join together for lunch and conclude with a
devotional reflecting on how God uses science in his creation.
There is no cost for the event but be sure to sign-up in the Welcome
Center.
Centri-Kid
camp is scheduled for Thursday, June 21st - Monday, June
25th. We want to invite all children who have finished 3rd
through 6th grades to experience the time of their lives
and learn more about the message of Jesus Christ! We are asking for
you to sign-up in the Welcome Center and turn in a $50 deposit by
February 29th to reserve your spot.
Weekly Events
Programs include: Sunday School, Children's Church,
RA's/GA's/Mission Friends, Bible Drills and other special events and services.
Sunday School Every Sunday (8:45 am)
We have Sunday school classes for all ages. Our classes are taught by gifted and loving teachers who genuinely care for their students.
Children's Choir
 We offer a preschool and graded children's choir for all boys and girls who like to sing and
enjoy music. The choir meets Wednesday nights at 6:30pm. Please encourage your children to come and be a part of
this great program.
RA'S AND GA'S
Our RA'S and GA'S are a great time for children to
learn in grow in Christ. We start at 7:00 and run until 8:00 on Wednesdays. We have
passionate and caring leaders who truly invest in each child.
No matter your children's age,
there is a place
for them here at Mount Zion!
